I took a bridesmaid dress to be altered at Blue Ribbon Cleaners in Bradlee Shopping Center and they completely ruined the dress. They shortened the dress to about 4 inches above my knee when I asked that it be cut to the knee. They offered to "fix" the dress and when I returned a few days later they had completely altered the hem of the dress adding some detailing that I never requested and made the dress look nothing like it originally had. They refused to compensate in any way for a second dress that I am going to need to buy now. I would not recommend having alterations done there. |
